8 Days True Wilderness Experience

Once you arrive into Nairobi, you will be welcomed by a representative who will escort you to Wilson Airport for your 1hr20 minute flight to Samburu. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Sasaab in time for lunch, where you will spend the night. You will have the opportunity to meet the locals of Samburu and get a glimpse into their way of life as well as have time to explore the teeming wildlife in Samburu. Here, you can observe what is known as the Samburu Special Five: Grevy’s zebra, reticulated giraffe, Somali ostrich, gerenuk and Beisa oryx. You can also make the most of the splendid Kenyan skies by camping under the stars. Meals and Accommodation: Sasaab Lodge

Once you have checked out of Sasaab, you will take a 20min private charter flight from Sasaab airstrip to Solio Lodge, your next accommodation. Solio Lodge is located within close vicinity to Mount Kenya and Aberdare Mountains and offers a number of great outdoors activities which you can enjoy during the next two days. For a unique experience, start off your day with a helicopter ride followed by a hilltop picnic breakfast! You can then partake in the many activities which include trout fishing in Aberdare National Park, game viewing on the conservancy (black and white rhinoceros, leopard, lion, cheetah, buffalo, zebra, giraffe, warthog etc), mountain biking, horse riding and much more. In the morning, you will depart Solio Lodge and be transferred by car to your next accommodation, Sala’s Camp. En route, you will enjoy a game drive. The rest of the day is at leisure for you to relax or go on safari. Meals and Accommodation: Sala's Camp

The Masai Mara Nationak Park is one of Kenya’s most famed regions for wildlife viewing. You can choose to go on a game drive, either early morning of late evening, to capture the animals at their busiest. Enhance the experience by booking a bush lunch and head deeper into the Mara. After breakfast, you will fly back to Nairobi’s Wilson Airport and from there be transferred to your last accommodation, Giraffe Manor. Renowned for its free roaming giraffes, this superb property is one of Kenya’s most iconic buildings. During your day in Nairobi, you can opt to stay within the property and interact with the giraffes, visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust and adopt a baby elephant, visit the acclaimed Matbronze Art Gallery or just relax. Today, you will be transferred back to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight home.
